Are you looking for a venue to plan a birthday party, a wedding, a corporate event, or a private function with good value and flexibility? Our Clubhouse is the sensible choice for you!

Lafayette Atheltic Association of the Deaf (LAAD) is a nonprofit organization, established in 1971, with the mission of maintaining a safe space where members of our Deaf community may congregate without communication barriers. In order to fulfill that mission, we rent out our venue to the public for their events, and 100% of the income from your business maintains our mission, and promotes economic opportunities for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of hearing individuals in the Greater Lafayette Region.

Our Clubhouse is a venue with over 6,000 sqft of space in total. We feature a comfortable floor plan for your event with a fully-equipped commercial kitchen with a big refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, pizza oven, and deep fryer. Our space is mixed out at 190 people with tables and chairs, and 400 people standing. When you step out into the back of our Clubhouse, you will come into our large Pavilion and a manicured backyard with comfortable space for a variety of recreational activities. Additional available equipment, such as our large hot coal grill, is available for an extra cost. Inquire within. 

We are situated in a uniquely quiet surrounding conveniently located by the newly-constructed roundabout at Rue du Belier & Dulles in Scott, parallel to Ambassador Cafferty by a few blocks, away from the traffic. Lastly, we have ample parking space for your guests, and our facility is secure with fencing and a state-of-art security monitoring system.

We offer options that are priced competitively with comparatively-reasonable rental policies; our Extended package ($1,500.00) gives you an ease of stress experience with the option starting on Friday at 6 pm and ending on Sunday at 11 am, and our Budget package ($850.00) gives you the option of 12 hours. Extra time are billed at $100.00/hour. Those with specific requests can be accommodated at $100.00/hour, however, we can work with you in making your event happen. Additionally, we have the option to rent ONLY our Pavilion with access to our indoor restrooms included. 

Renters are responsible to clean up after themselves. A refundable security deposit is required to secure your rental. See our agreement for more information regarding the conditions surrounding the security deposit.
